We limit what we ask of people, so we’re only collecting the minimum amount of information we need to process information for ticket sales, accommodation, dietary needs, and event related communication. For example, we need to provide certain information to the venue in order for them to reserve a room for you and make sure they have food that is safe for people who have allergies or dietary restrictions.
We store that information in a variety of systems such as Google Docs, Gmail, TicketTailor, Wave, Paypal, MailChimp, and Excel, and make sure only people who are part of the organizing team, or those who have a genuine need for an event purpose to have access to it at any time – and even then, we do our best to make sure that only the information that’s needed is ever shared.
Basically, we treat your information the same as we treat our own personal information.
